This lovingly restored ancient stone house is situated at the edge of the hamlet of Ponticello which is one of the oldest medieval villages of Lunigiana, a comparatively undiscovered and unspoilt area of Tuscany, surrounded by wooded hills and magnificent mountain views. The property is divided into three independent apartments, tastefully furnished with old country furniture and terracotta floors. Outside there is a private pool and a very large and sunny garden, with shaded areas to eat al fresco. Close to all the local amenities for shopping, eating out and sight seeing it is also a perfect place to rest and relax.

The house takes its name from a tower dating back to the eleventh century, that is part of the house.

The medieval hamlet of Ponticello is all made of stone and cars are not allowed in its narrow streets. It is a perfect place not only for those who enjoy cultural daily trips to most known art cities like Pisa, Lucca Florence Genoa or Parma, but also for guests who like discovering nearby, less famous but nonetheless, very interesting and charming villages like Sarzana, Pontremoli, Filattiera, Filetto, Bagnone, Malgrate, and Castagnetoli. In less than an hour you can even reach the sea area, Natural Park of “Le Cinque Terre” close to La Spezia and visit the enchanting villages of Lerici, Portovenere, Monterosso, Vernazza, Riomaggiore, Manarola, Corniglia, Tellaro, and swim and sunbathe on this unique coast. There are also very nice restaurants where you can enjoy the tasty food and superb vine of the surroundings. It is also possible to go for trekking on the mountains of “Appennino Tosco Emiliano” and enjoy the silence and the beauty of its peaks
